This role ensures the wellbeing of all participants addressing concerns and creating a supportive and respectful environment throughout the production process.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide emotional and psychological support to documentary subjects and team members.
2. Conduct initial assessments to understand the needs and concerns of participants.
3. Develop and implement tailored support plans to address individual needs.
4. Offer counseling and support sessions to address emotional and psychological challenges.
5. Ensure a safe respectful and supportive environment for all participants.
6. Collaborate with the production team to address wellbeing concerns.
7. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies.
8. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
9. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure participants wellbeing.
10. Monitor and report on the wellbeing of participants to stakeholders.
11. Provide training and guidance to the team on best practices in people care.
12. Foster a positive collaborative work environment within the production team.
13. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in people care.
14. Conduct followup assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of support plans.
15. Coordinate with external mental health professionals and organizations as needed.
16. Develop and maintain a digital archive of all people care documentation.
17. Stay updated on trends and developments in mental health and wellbeing.
18. Provide creative input to enhance the documentary s approach to people care.
19. Ensure the documentary adheres to ethical standards in people care.
20. Assist in the development of promotional content related to people care.
21. Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g. Trello Asana).
Skills:
