The Social Media Manager / PR and Marketing Strategist will lead the development and of social media public relations and marketing strategies for the documentary. The role focuses on enhancing the documentary s online presence engaging with audiences and ensuring the message reaches a broad and diverse audience. This includes managing campaigns fostering relationships with media and stakeholders and maintaining sensitivity and respect toward the subjects and communities portrayed.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive social media PR and marketing strategies aligned with the documentary s objectives.
2. Manage the documentary s social media accounts including creating scheduling and publishing content.
3. Craft compelling content that reflects the documentary s vision ensuring cultural sensitivity.
4. Develop and manage PR campaigns to build awareness and interest in the documentary.
5. Respond to comments and messages to foster audience engagement and connection.
6. Monitor and analyze social media and marketing performance metrics optimizing campaigns as needed.
7. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets influencers and relevant stakeholders.
8. Coordinate with the production team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
9. Write and distribute press releases media kits and other promotional materials.
10. Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to increase visibility.
11. Organize events screenings and promotional activities for the documentary.
12. Handle crisis communication protecting and managing the documentary s reputation.
13. Ensure all content adheres to legal cultural and ethical standards.
14. Provide training to the team on effective social media and marketing practices.
15. Stay updated on trends in social media PR and marketing to innovate and adapt strategies.
