Job Description
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with Azure Data expertise to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. This role involves creating and maintaining the Data Access Layer (DAL) application supporting legacy access stores and working with Unity Catalog in Databricks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python development API integration and DevOps with a solid understanding of Azure architecture and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Data Access Layer (DAL) application around Unity Catalog.
Support and enhance legacy access stores.
Manage Metastore using Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML).
Implement API integrations and optimize data access solutions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance data access and security.
Develop automation scripts using Bash and Terraform for infrastructure management.
Requirements
Programming & Development:
Python (Intermediate level) Strong programming skills with experience in Python Web Frameworks.
API Development & Integration Application Programming Interface (API) development expertise.
Python Testing (pytest) Ability to write and execute test cases.
Git Proficiency in version control and repository management.
Azure & Cloud Technologies:
Azure (Intermediate level) Experience with cloudbased solutions and services.
Azure Architecture (Intermediate level) Knowledge of cloud design principles.
Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) (Advanced level) Handson experience in pipeline automation and CI/CD.
Infrastructure & Databricks:
Terraform (Intermediate level) Experience in infrastructure as code.
Bash Scripting (Intermediate level) Proficiency in scripting for automation.
Databricks (Intermediate level) Experience with Unity Catalog Databricks Administration and Databricks as a user.
