Job Description
Shift: 9pm 5:30am (some flexibility on start time)
Job Summary: You will be part of a team of people that work together in an environment that is friendly yet productive.
This role is for picking full case and partial quantity produce orders onto a cart or hand truck and staged for next day deliveries . These orders are picked with a focus on product quality and integrity while adhering to customer specifics. We strive to maintain a safe warehouse environment while specializing in building organized orders with attention to quality and accuracy while meeting all food safety programs. This is a steady paced position that requires a certain number of orders per shift which is easily within reach for candidates that are hired on.
Essential functions include:
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 36degrees).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.
- Physical capacities to utilize moving motorized equipment (ex: electric pallet jack sit down forklift standup forklift) in a fast paced environment.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction).
- Ability to read write and speak English Fluently.
- Auditory ability to take orders via a voicerecognition headset.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- At least 36 months of warehouse or wholesale picking experience.
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 3556 degrees F.
- Organize the orders by location as you pick with integrity to the product (i.e. Organic produce fragile product etc..
- Ability to work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities.
- Follow food safety quality service standards and comply with procedures rules and regulations.
- Any previous electric pallet jack experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience
