Rework Line Operator

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

• Responsible for:  operating machine exchange of pallets rubber containers and trolleys sequencing  control panel operations and recipe weight measurements.
• Responsible for: marking and identifying compounds including special markings for Halobutyl B460 and clean out compounds.
• Responsible for: Handling transporting and storage of materials and compounds.
• Responsible for: batch release of rework compounds.
• Possess and apply problem solving skills in case of machine cycle issues.
• Read specifications use hand tools and gauging devices to monitor current and ongoing product quality.
• React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary conditions and must notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.
• Perform actions with a control panel interface both automatic and manual.
• Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions: as to specs procedures tolerances and various construction and quality requirements.
• Communicate with other inbound and outbound operators production operators and supervisors.
• Drives forklifts and operate other material handling equipment and is responsible for the proper care and safe operation of the material handling equipment.
• Performs other duties as directed by the shift leaders or management team.
• Demonstrate the characteristics of 5S Care and Inspect to keep work areas and machines neat clean aligned orderly and maintained

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Work Keys Applied Math3 Graphic Literacy3 Workplace Documents3
• HS diploma /GED
• 13 year experience in manufacturing preferred
• Forklift driving experience preferred
• Willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts days nights and weekends.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• The job is within a nonclimate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise. 
• The role involves various physical tasks including lifting bending stooping pushing pulling and operating a forklift with comprehensive training provided.
