Job Description

Conveyancing Secretary / Assistant

Location: Keighley West Yorkshire

OfficeBased (MonFri 08:30 17:00 with a 1hour lunch break)

Kamro has partnered with a wellestablished and respected law firm based in Keighley to find a dedicated and organised Conveyancing Secretary / Assistant. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid administrative background in conveyancing who is looking to support a dynamic clientfocused team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the backbone of the department ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your main responsibility will be to assist the team by managing the administrative side of property transactions allowing them to focus on the legal work.
  • Youll be involved in tasks such as preparing and organising documentation liaising with clients and other parties managing case files and ensuring that everything runs according to schedule. This is a busy and varied role that requires someone proactive detailorientated and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Preparing typing and organising legal documents and correspondence.
  • Communicating with clients solicitors estate agents and other third parties to arrange meetings exchange information and facilitate property transactions.
  • Ensuring that legal deadlines and processes are followed correctly and promptly.

Requirements

  • 23 years of experience in a conveyancing environment as a secretary or assistant.
  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process and terminology.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy and precision.
  • Proficiency in office software including MS Office and case management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
