Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join a thriving and wellregarded school in Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to contribute to a vibrant school community and inspire students in the field of Health and Social Care. The role offers the potential for a TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) providing a leadership pathway within the department.

- Salary: Competitive dependent on experience (MPS/UPS potential TLR)

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Health and Social Care to GCSE and ALevel students ensuring engaging and challenging lessons.
- Support students academic progress through feedback assessments and guidance.
- Contribute to curriculum development bringing innovative ideas to the department.
- Lead and manage initiatives within the Health and Social Care department (potential for TLR).
- Foster a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject.
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (PGCE).
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at GCSE and ALevel is preferred.
- A passion for educating and inspiring students in the field of Health and Social Care.
- Leadership potential and willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the department.
