Maths Teacher (KS35 Croydon Secondary School

Calling all passionate and dedicated Maths Teachers!

Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to inspire young minds to embrace the world of numbers is a thriving secondary school in Croydon committed to providing a highquality Maths education that fosters problemsolving skills logical reasoning and a love of Maths.

We are seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles fostering a love of Maths in our students.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their Maths lessons.
  • Teach a variety of mathematical concepts and skills promoting mathematical literacy and developing students confidence in their abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Maths providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum and departmental resources ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Maths teaching.

We are looking for a Maths Teacher who has:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for Maths and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • A strong understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures.
