About the Art Teacher Role
We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Art Teacher to join our Creative Arts department. You will teach Art at A Level guiding students to express themselves creatively while honing their technical skills and artistic understanding.
Responsibilities of the Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver stimulating and engaging Art lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Art curriculum.
- Foster a positive and supportive creative environment.
- Participate in schoolwide and departmental activities including art exhibitions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Art Fine Art or a related field.
- Experience teaching Art at the secondary school level.
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum and A Level specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
