About the Design Technology Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join our vibrant Creative Arts department. You will teach Design Technology at A Level inspiring students with your expertise and engaging them through handson and innovative teaching methods.
Responsibilities of the Design Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Design Technology lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Design Technology curriculum.
- Foster a positive collaborative and creative learning environment.
- Participate in both departmental and schoolwide activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Design Technology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary school level.
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum and A Level specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
