Job Description

As a Robotics Production Engineer you will be the key driver in implementing product modifications and launching new products on the assembly line. Acting as the central point of contact you will collaborate closely with product managers the R&D team production staff and field technicians. Together youll navigate the product roadmap translating updates and innovations into a streamlined efficient assembly process. 

Your mission To optimize workflows refine workstation layouts introduce process improvements and ensure the seamless integration of new products and methods into production. With a handson approach and strong technical insight youll thrive on the shop floor ensuring smooth operations and tackling technical challenges before they arise. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Process Optimization & Implementation: Develop and refine assembly processes preventing technical issues and continuously improving production quality. 

New Product & Method Introduction: 

  • Lead the smooth transition of new products from development to production ensuring manufacturability and efficiency. 
  • Define and implement the most effective assembly techniques for new product launches. 
  • Develop detailed work instructions process documentation and training materials to support production teams in adapting to new methodologies. 
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to ensure new designs align with production capabilities and quality standards. 

CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D production teams and technicians to ensure seamless product changes and new product introductions. 

 Lean & Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency by implementing Lean principles and fostering a culture of ongoing process enhancement. 

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities align with QSHE (Quality Safety Health Environment) standards policies and local regulations. 

Product & Process Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production workflows repairs and onsite challenges providing valuable feedback to the R&D team. 

Material & Workflow Management: Adapt material lists and develop effective routing strategies for smooth production transitions. 


Qualifications :

Education & Technical Expertise: 

  • Bachelors or masters degree in a technical field. 

  • Strong electromechanical background with experience in electrical and mechanical components.

Production & Process Knowledge: 

  • Handson experience in setting up production lines within an assembly environment. 

  • Familiarity with Lean Management principles and a passion for process optimization. 

  • Interest in researching and implementing new developments in production technology. 

Skills & Mindset: 

  • Proactive problem solver with a handson approach. 

  • Strong sense of initiative dynamic and stress resistant. 

  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. 

  • Proficient in MS Office
