Requirements
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts in the Retail & Supply Chain domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing test strategy development and team leadership ensuring the delivery of highquality software solutions for our retail and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies for retail and supply chain applications including POS ERP WMS and ecommerce platforms.
- Develop test plans test cases and test scripts covering functional integration regression and performance testing.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
2. Test & Quality Assurance
- Oversee endtoend testing ensuring defectfree software releases.
- Lead manual and automated testing efforts to validate system functionality and performance.
- Work closely with development teams to implement ShiftLeft Testing and ensure early defect detection.
- Ensure compatibility across various retail & supply chain systems thirdparty integrations and platforms.
3. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team of testers ensuring best practices in test .
- Collaborate with business stakeholders developers product managers and operations teams to align testing efforts with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test automation defect tracking and performance optimization.
4. Automation & Performance Testing
- Implement and enhance test automation frameworks for UI API and backend testing.
- Utilize tools such as Selenium Appium JMeter LoadRunner Cypress TestNG or similar for automation and performance testing.
- Ensure effective use of CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests in DevOps environments.
5. Defect Management & Reporting
- Track analyze and report defects ensuring timely resolution.
- Prepare test reports dashboards and quality metrics to provide insights into software quality.
- Advocate for improvements in software development and QA processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
8 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of retail and supply chain systems including ERP WMS OMS POS and ecommerce platforms.
Handson experience in functional regression performance and automation testing.
Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium Appium Cypress etc..
Strong understanding of Agile DevOps and CI/CD testing methodologies.
Excellent team leadership stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloudbased retail systems (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of AI/MLbased testing solutions.
- Certification in ISTQB CSTE or equivalent.
