Job Description
Following our strategy to unleash the full potential of our international markets we are seeking a tour buyer focused on the Italian and Spanish markets. With a strong emphasis on business development the buyer will lead sourcing and negotiations with new partners all over the world to develop special tours for italian and spanish customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and revenue in the Italian and Spanish markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local tour operators and DMC.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our presence in the regions.
- Collaborate with supply and sales teams to ensure that offers correspond to VPG standards and targets.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to optimize product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee operational aspects such as contracting pricing and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Negotiate deals from A to Z.
- Coordinate the sale with the departments in charge of the production of the sale : production assistant content editor loading sales performance manager.
- Analyze the performance of the different sales and regular reporting of the performance with each partner.
Qualifications :
Our ideal candidate possesses...
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken) Italian is a plus and fluency in English.
- Business development skills with a willingness to build business from scratch.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to drive results in a fastpaced environment.
