Our product teams are the eyes and ears of Cuscal. Theyre clientfocused relationship managers serving everything from business development marketing fraud and customer support. They work out what clients need so we can build it and launch it Often in months not years.

We are Looking for a Reconciliations Officer to join our team on a 12 month contract
The Reconciliations Officer is responsible for ensuring all assigned reconciliations are completed variances are cleared or escalated in a timely  manner and in accordance with Corporate Governance Structure regulatory standards and to ensure auditory requirements and scheme reporting deadlines are met. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Reconcile all assigned reconciliations daily and/or  monthly as per daily checklist escalate and or resolve issues to control financial exposure arising from clearing settlement and dispute liabilities.  
  • Investigation of variances 
  • Complete monthly Financial Control reporting requirements to ensure all balances and aged debt are reported correctly and accurately.  
  • Complete monthly and quarterly reporting (schemes Payment products etc) 
  • Provide a report on daily outstanding/aged debt. Manage  the expectations of Internal / External Auditors and  ensure all reconciliations and queries are presented and responded to in a timely and accurate manner.  
  • Process Documentation to ensure processes are documented and reflect practice and to reflect learnings and outcomes from investigations / analysis and resolution of variances. 
  • Reduce human error through automation of processes respond update and accurately full Client requests within  specified service levels and or in a timely manner. 

About You

  • Entry level understanding of debits and credits  
  • Extensive knowledge of transactional products and the settlement reconciliations of such products  
  • Experience working in a Banking environment and in card & payment settlement processes
