About the Role:
- Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 following the national curriculum and exam specifications.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster a deep understanding of chemical principles.
- Conduct engaging practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance student learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress providing timely and effective feedback.
- Contribute to the development of departmental resources and initiatives.
- Potential for a TLR for a candidate demonstrating a capacity for leadership and innovation within the department.
- Support the schools commitment to providing a single sex education that allows girls to excel.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Indepth knowledge of Chemistry.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to student progress.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE and ALevel Chemistry.
- A dedication to encouraging girls into STEM subjects.
