Job Description

Social Worker BayRidge Hospital 60 Granite St Lynn MAWeekdays day shift 84:30Job Summary: As a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team the social worker will provide assessment intervention and aftercare planning for assigned patients on an inpatient behavioral health unit. Assures efficient patient utilization of continuum resources through close communication and collaboration with the patient primary treatment team insurers and community and family support systems. In collaboration with the treatment team plans appropriate individual and group treatment plans to meet the ongoing needs of assigned patientsEducation Experience & Licensing Requirements:A candidate will have successfully completed a master s degree in social work and preferably will have had at least one year of social work experience in a behavioral health setting.Current valid Massachusetts license in Social Work (LCSW or LICSW).Skills/Qualifications:Familiarity with use of electronic medical record such as EPICIndividual case management and knowledge of managed careDeescalation/restraint management techniquesMotivational Interviewing and shortterm treatment techniquesBrief family interventions as neededStrong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans to address the identified needs.Good communication listening and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to be flexible in a fastpaced work environmentBILH Coversheet Required COVID Vaccines Booster andflu vaccine required at time of submission (declinations not accepted).Active MA license required at time of submissionLocal candidates not acceptedCannot have worked perm/travel for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months
