Job Description
You will be part of our Financial Compliance team and will support the area through the values Passion for Customers How matters and Determined you will live and experience more of this position. Here is how this role will be critical to our business:
Purpose & Accountability:
- Typically performs a welldefined full range of routine tasks
- Provides a service through the application of established methods systems and procedures within a defined framework
Business impact:
- Eliminates returning inefficiencies with permanent effect within agreed limits
- Knows the work of the team and the wider work area
Responsibilities:
- To provide financial compliance expertise and monitor Syngenta Internal Controls Framework (ICF) with focus on Process Level & Company Level controls compliance.
- To work on control standardization across territories.
- Act as control auditor and assess critically of test results with an independent mindset.
- of independent management walkthroughs and testing as per agreed scoping provided by Global Financial Compliance.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of various financial compliance reporting activities and liaise with control performers for clarifications and agreement on remediation actions.
- Ensure that all compliance documents are stored centrally in document library/SharePoint to meet applicable statutory requirements.
- May make calculations and perform straightforward analyses.

It is indispensable for this position:
- Accounting / Finance Bachelors degree or advanced student.
- 12 years of accounting audit or controls testing experience (mandatory).
- Intermediate/advanced English (mandatory).
- Understanding of financial compliance and internal controls concepts.
- Understanding of control documentation requirements and how it is implemented / sustained.
- Knowledge of internal controls business process best practices within agrochemicals/manufacturing environment and auditing techniques.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS.
- Understanding in the design implementation and monitoring of internal controls risk libraries and compliance process management.
- Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities without losing focus if necessary.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills including English skills; must be able to communicate well both verbal and written form.
- Ability to communicate complicated issues in an easy to understand and concise method.
- Selfstarter positive attitude highenergy motivated enthusiastic with an outgoing cando attitude.
- Ability to drive changes and implementation of processes and standards.
- Personal computer skills are required and advanced skills with excel word and access is desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively and Influencing skills.
- Attention to detail resultsoriented work ethic and teamwork.
