Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Accountant to help drive financial accounting quality and efficiencies under
robust internal controls through the Companys continued high pace growth. This person will be responsible for
several accounting processes working with crossfunctional teams to support projects and implement process
improvements in a fastpaced environment.
Your Impact
- Prepares journal entries and ensures journals are supported with appropriate documentation and calculations uploads and parks journals in company SAP ERP software for various legal entities and countries across the regions.
- Prepares account reconciliations in Blackline ensures all reconciliations are accurate of high quality and appropriate backup documentation is attached Followsup timely on resolving any reconciling items.
- Assists and participates in the monthly financial close process and all related activities.
- Shares suggestions for process improvements to increase efficiency and/or reduce risk and support of process improvements.
- Assists in any additional and adhoc activities required by the R2R team.
- Excellent communication skills are key to ensure candidates can efficiently work together with teams
- based in different regions.
- Support corporate accounting team in preparing audit schedules for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with external auditors for the area of work assigned.
- Preparation of analytics that will assist the controllers in monthly flux and close related reviews.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- CA or CPA qualified with bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in GL/RTR functions in a large US MNC
- Sound knowledge of US GAAP internal controls and financial reporting
- Experience with SAP Oracle or any other similar ERP systems a plus
- Experience with account reconciliations tools like Blackline a plus
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Detailoriented and efficient in processing transactions
- Ability to multitask stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Promotes teamwork and works well with others.
- Energetic and positive attitude
