Job Description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
As a Quality Assurance Technician you will be responsible for supporting Engineer in driving supplier improvement activities which may require travel to supplier locations for issue assessment and evaluation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist the Engineer in driving improvement activities with suppliers and travel to supplier locations as needed to assess and evaluate issues.
- Work closely with the Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams to identify analyze and solve problems related to product quality and processes.
- Assist the Engineer in collecting cleanliness samples from suppliers and maintaining accurate records of backup samples.
- Ensure cleanliness test results are accurately entered into SQEs monitoring sheets and that records are uptodate.
- Create weekly reports detailing cleanliness performance highlighting trends or issues and recalculating cleanliness control limits based on the latest data.
- Ensure that all cleanliness testing meets established standards and support compliance with cleanliness requirements for quality control.
- Analyze cleanliness data to identify any trends or recurring issues and communicate findings to relevant teams.
- Provide detailed reports and analysis to support quality control processes and communicate cleanliness performance to the team and stakeholders.
- Keep accurate and detailed records related to cleanliness testing sample collection and results to ensure consistency and traceability.
Qualifications :
Education and Work Experience:
- Technical degree in Technology with atleast 1 year professional experience in quality control and quality maintenance function.
- Technical experience in Quality Management and Engineering Support is highly desirable.
- Industry exposure in Electronics Semiconduction Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.
Tools & Application Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Handson experience with basic statistical tool.
Skills & Competency Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to work with engineering teams in identifying and resolving product quality and process issues.
- Ability to identify trends or recurring issues from data and provide solutions.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with cleanliness and quality standards.
- Ability to maintain thorough and traceable documentation of cleanliness tests sample collection and results.
- Ability to clearly communicate issues trends and solutions to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Understanding of quality control processes and cleanliness standards to ensure testing compliance and overall product quality.
