We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to fulfil the role of Technologist supporting Liquid ChromatographyMass Spectrometry based research and analytical services at the University primarily in the field of Proteomics. This role will be reporting to the Lead Technologist and involves liaising with researchers from a wide range of disciplines and applying advanced mass spectrometry techniques to deliver successful analytical outcomes.
Key Accountabilities for this role:
This role 10month fixed term role across Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week)
Salary range is between $72000 $84709 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications

The Faculty of Sciences Mass Spectrometry Facility team is a dynamic group of scientists who are passionate about mass spectrometry. We are home to expert operators of a range of advanced mass spectrometers including some of the most powerful instruments in Australasia. Analytes encountered can range from proteins peptides metabolites and lipids to pharmaceuticals.

You will be responsible for researching developing and applying appropriate sample preparation and data acquisition protocols and performing data interpretation and analysis as required. A major focus of the facility is proteomic analysis with intact protein small molecule and peptidomic applications also featuring.
