Job Description

The Opportunity 

Salary: $81621 $94070 super per annum

Are you an experienced and proactive payroll professional  We are in search of an individual who brings enthusiasm positivity and a collaborative spirit to the workplace. As our Payroll Officer you will oversee comprehensive payroll functions supported by an exceptional team and engage in all aspects of payroll administration.

A day on the job will see you:

  • Calculating and coding employee timesheets against relevant industrial agreements.
  • Reviewing and processing employee reimbursements
  • Entering of New Employees to the Payroll system
  • Processing Terminations
  • Maintaining Employee records
  • Attending to employee queries relating to payroll and/or employment conditions.
  • Attending to payroll calculations which may include but not limited to pay and leave entitlement accruals.
  • Provide both regular and adhoc reporting as required to the wider business.
  • Preparation and payment of fortnightly superannuation

Qualifications :

About You

To succeed in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:

  • Welldeveloped skills in problem solving analysis and customer service.
  • Ability to interact proactively with employees.
  • Able to contribute effectively as part of a team and to work autonomously.
  • Previous experience with computerised payroll systems.
  • Experience in the processing of payroll and superannuation.
  • Experience in dealing with confidential personnel and/or business records.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel (i.e. formula creations VLOOKUP Data Filters etc).
  • Knowledge of Preceda will be Highly regarded but not essential.
