Job Description
About you
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a keen eye for detail to design testing procedures for our customers software applications. Ready for the challenge
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- 3 years of experience in test automation including writing assertions debugging failures and contributing to test requirements.
- 3 years of experience working with Playwright and WebdriverIO for UI automation.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript essential for API automated testing.
- Handson experience with API testing particularly RESTbased APIs using Postman.
- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium.
- Experience with mobile testing for iOS and Android applications including mobile automation.
- Ability to manage test data effectively and experience in defect tracking.
- Proficiency in test script creation and reporting using automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines particularly with Jenkins.
- Basic familiarity with Linux commands for troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloudbased environments particularly AWS.
- Ability to validate data and write basic queries.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory as you will be working directly with USbased clients.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Plan analyze design develop execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data this includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating plans to implement these scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
- Identify and clearly document bugs found. Deliver regular reports on bugs found.
- Support design and execute test automation strategy for the projects along with other developers and QA Analysts.
- Coordinate the test plans with project managers development managers and others
- Initiate the analysis design implementation and of tests monitor test progress and results and check the status of exit criteria (or definition of done)
- Automate collection and delivery of test progress and test summary reports.
- Support the selection and implementation of automation tools.
- Introduce suitable metrics for measuring test progress and evaluating the quality of the testing.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM) ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
