Job Description
As a student intern with Olssons Survey team you will perform meaningful handson realworld work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career in geospatial technology. You will work alongside experienced staff assisting with processing and extracting data from LiDAR point clouds supporting quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) efforts and maintaining organized records of all processed data and project documentation. Youll learn how to navigate and manipulate 3D CAD environments to create accurate digital twin models as well as learn how troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to data extraction and processing. Depending on the projects you may also have the opportunity for field work with stateoftheart LiDAR tools and equipment.

- Pursuing a certificate or degree related to computeraided design geospatial science land surveying civil engineering or another related field
- Basic knowledge of 3D CAD environments and an understanding of spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
