Job Description
You will be assigned to one of our investment teams for your 8week placement. You will also take part in an induction week designed to introduce you to L&G and help prepare you for the remainder of the internship. Over the course of the internship you will have the chance to interact with different teams hear from senior speakers and network with your fellow interns. Some of the daytoday activities you may experience might include:
- Performing research and due diligence tasks to support decision making
- Collating information for reporting
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations for meetings
- Liaising with key stakeholders and improving team processes with fresh perspectives and ideas
- Most importantly you will be learning new skills and gaining knowledge of how our business works!
- Collaborating with other internal departments / teams
- Have guidance from your team and manager who will support you and teach you the daytoday role
- Be part of a big team and develop your collaboration skills
- Have the opportunity to meet and network with new colleagues within your team but also across the wider organisation
Qualifications :
First and foremost we are looking for people in their penultimate year at university with an inquisitive mind and a desire to learn. Were not expecting prior industry experience but well want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include:
- On track for a 2.1 Degree in any subject we are open to all subject backgrounds
- In your penultimate of University (i.e. graduating in 2026
- H3 or higher in Leaving Cert honours maths
- Curious motivated and have a desire to learn more about a career in Investment Management!
- Analytical mindset
- Great communication skills
- Flexible and a teamplayer
- High levels of energy dynamism and commitment
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
The role will be based in Dublin and will involve a flexible working approach whereby you split your time between working from home and the office.
