The role of a junior/fresh graduate geologist is to assist and carry out under supervision technical works of the subsurface department including well analysis and correlations well geological programs regional play fairway analysis and block geological evaluation.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Assist or work under supervision on the following:
- Conduct/Followup of Geological studies.
- Well review analysis and correlation.
- Prospect and play assessment.
- Volumetric calculations.
- Risk analysis and economic calculations.
- Operation geology tasks from bidding process job follow up and reporting.
- Geological program preparation.
- Participation in partner meeting booklet preparation (TCM/OCMs Workshops and any other G&G documents.
- Collaboration and communication: Geoscientists work closely with multidisciplinary teams collaborate on projects share insights and provide G&G knowledge to support decisionmaking processes.
Qualifications :
- Education/degree: Masters degree in Geology / Engineer in geoscience
- Good understanding of Geology basis.
- Basic understanding of Geophysics
- Basic understanding of Operation Geology
- Good use of technical softwares: Petrel IP .
- Capable of completing technical projects on time to agreed standards with full product delivery.
- A good team player capable of working under strict deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Can do attitude. Proactive worker.
- Good presentation skills
- Good level of verbal and written English
