Job Description
McDonalds has set an ambition to become a Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement leader. To make this happen we are standing up a new Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement Organization (IS&P). This organization will help McDonalds to better use our scale and unlock sustainable value for our company and communities. We are redefining our Indirect Sourcing and Procurement capabilities processes solutions and ways of working to create One McDonalds Way of buying Indirect goods and services responsibly.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to help drive this transformation as the IT (Information Technology) Hardware & Sourcing Lead. This key position will be responsible for supporting the development and of IT Hardware and Telecom category strategies for McDonalds ensuring maximization of value through strategic sourcing and vendor management activities.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Technology Sourcing the Senior Manager will be responsible for driving global sourcing efforts within these categories working closely with internal partners to understand their needs and deliver value. The Senior Manager will also contribute to driving continuous innovation and improvements within the sourcing process to support broader business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Lead Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT Hardware and Telecom ensuring alignment across these IT subcategories with the broader business goals and objectives of McDonalds.
Strategic Sourcing: Competitively source through engagement of strategic suppliers (i.e. RFx) and application of industry knowledge. Ensure all sourcing projects have clear objectives including financial and operational benefits aligned with business partners
Team Support & Development: Guide and mentor a highperforming sourcing team setting clear goals providing development opportunities and encouraging a culture of excellence.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key internal partners to understand business needs and build tailored sourcing strategies that deliver value across the McDonalds global organization.
Category Leadership Support: Lead the development and of strategic category plans finding opportunities for cost savings risk mitigation and process optimization.
Savings Identification & Tracking: Accountable for driving annual savings within the category through using market intelligence analysis. Includes the identification of savings opportunities & valuation and ongoing monitoring / reporting of saving initiatives (e.g. by vendor / category)
Negotiation & Contract Management: Support negotiations to ensure favorable contract terms that meet business requirements and assist with the of sophisticated agreements and SLAs.
Drive Innovation: Contribute to sourcing initiatives that drive innovation cost savings and operational efficiency in line with the companys broader business strategies.
Risk & Compliance Management: Partner with Enterprise teams to ensure sourcing strategies and supplier relationships align with McDonalds compliance requirements and risk management frameworks.
Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts evaluating sourcing processes performance metrics and benchmarks to optimize sourcing outcomes.
Performance Motivation: Assist in identifying training needs and growth opportunities within the team ensuring the development of future sourcing leaders and building an outstanding function.

The expected salary range for this role is $129800 $165490 per year

Qualifications :
- Minimum 4year degree
- 5 years of relevant sourcing experience in a highly sophisticated environment and Global landscape
- Experience in conducting influential discussions with executive leaders
- Strong background in procurement IT strategic sourcing and vendor relationship management with excellent negotiation communication and problemsolving skills
- Skills: Procurement Industry Expertise Critical Thinking Executive Presence / Communications Advanced Sourcing Contracting Knowledge Stakeholder Management Vendor Management Project Management Financial Acumen
