To support this vision we are currently seeking an experienced Change Manager on a 6month contract (Internal Job Title: Delivery Enablement Specialist) to join the Digital Delivery Enablement team. This isnt your ordinary change management role were looking for a Tshaped professional with a deep understanding of change practices and a broad delivery skill set. You will have a handson roll your sleeves up approach to the delivery of your Tribe and Squad(s) outcomes leveraging your breadth of expertise to ensure every stage of delivery succeeds. 

You will champion and leverage our agile operating rhythm to deliver outcomes via largescale crossfunctional initiatives. This will require you to manage complex dependencies between teams third parties and across the organisation to ensure endtoend delivery success. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • You will play a pivotal role in enabling successful delivery by ensuring teams have the right structures processes and change strategies in place to drive adoption and minimise friction. 
  • Conduct impact analyses assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders to support effective change delivery and planning. 
  • Support the design development delivery and management of communications to ensure employee understanding and engagement for relevant change projects and initiatives. 
  • Identify track and mitigate change management risks and issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure stakeholders requirements are balanced and to manage stakeholder expectations. 
  • Actively ensure the safety and security of all people assets systems & procedures engaged in or associated with own area of responsibility or otherwise under own control or influence. 
  • Experience in Agile Project methodologies. 

Experience & Skills: 

  • Proven experience delivering change in an iterative valuedriven way ensuring continuous delivery of benefits rather than a traditional waterfall approach. 
  • Experience leading and delivering technology and business outcomes in a corporate environment. 
  • Significant experience leading largescale organisational change efforts. 
  • Experience across the traditional project delivery areas of Change Management Project Management and Business Analysis with the ability to apply these skills to meet the project goals. 
  • Ability to navigate the grey to define the black & white and be comfortable with ambiguity. 
  • Strong influencing and engagement skills that enable you to work with diverse stakeholder groups while managing expectations. 
  • Active listener and clear communicator enabling effective technical discussions to closure. 
  • Experience in aviation transport logistics or operations a plus. 

This role currently requires at least 3 days/ week in one of our Auckland offices. Starting from 1st July Air New Zealand will be moving to 4 days a week in the office due to a change in our hybrid working policy.
