Responsibilities
- Act as the champion of the company for the entire billing cycle
- Identify the specific needs or areas of improvement of our billing system such as the types of billing (e.g. subscription onetime payments) user roles and security requirements
- Create a userfriendly dashboard that provides an overview of key billing metrics alerts and quick access to essential features
- Leverage your experience with NetSuite and Salesforce to analyze complex billing issues propose effective solutions and follow through to ensure resolution
- Implement features to automatically generate invoices and renew subscriptions based on predefined rules such as recurring billing or usagebased charges
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data to suggest improvement on our billing process and workflow
- Develop and implement improvements to the billing process enhancing accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a centralized database of customer information including contact details payment history and account status
- Identify technologies that support scalability security and integration with other systems
- Integrate with multiple payment gateways (e.g. PayPal Stripe) to handle various payment methods securely including credit cards bank transfers and digital wallets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in accounting business administration or management information systems
- At least 35 years of experience in billing finance or related roles with a strong background in Netsuite and/or Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of billing operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Bilingual (French and English / reason: Multilingual external partners/customers and complexity).
Assets
- Experience with high growth SaaS companies
- Certification in Salesforce and and/or Netsuite
- Experience in a fastpaced highvolume billing environment
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to billing and finance
- Knowledge with other financial software and tools is a plus.
