Job Description
- Design and develop innovative product designs keeping in mind the budget material and/or spares availability.
- Optimize or modify existing product designs
- Providing installation support for the technical team on site and compile installation documentation where necessary
- Provide support to the team conducting factory and site acceptance tests where necessary
- Supporting the Procurement department for specifications technical buying or sourcing for new equipment
- Evaluate overall performance reliability and safety of the finished products /equipment
- Regularly reporting to the senior mechanical design engineers on the status of each project
- Troubleshoot design/performance problems that may arise and find solutions to resolve them
- Research and stay current with the everevolving trends and technologies in the field of mechanical design.
Qualifications :
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Proficiency with 3D modelling and mechanical engineering drawings
- Proficiency with Solid works package
- Work experience as Mechanical Design Engineer
