Job Description
Pay Rate: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Position Purpose:
IT Internship.
Internships at Veolia: Gain handson experience in at least one career function from Corporate Engineering Maintenance Manufacturing Operations Sales Supply Chain or Technology.
Internships are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures. Candidates may support any of the Veolia North America business functions.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
- Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
- May assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas in order to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2 RDS VPC IAM S3 and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge with monitoring logging and alerting tools like CloudWatch Nagios etc.
- Experience on Amazon RDS deployments for Oracle SQL Server.
- Proficiency with networking concepts and experience with AWS networking services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline).
- May be asked to prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses.
- Produces findings and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and written recommendations to management.
Work Environment:
- Environments vary by intership function from office to field to plant.

Qualifications :
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Working towards a fouryear degree or 2year Masters and you have Senior status in Computer Science Data Science or a related major.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills including written verbal listening presentation and facilitation skills / Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
