About This Role
As a Sr Manufacturing Technician (Maintenance) you will manage the daytoday activities within the Maintenance department.
This position will work Evening Shift working from 2PM to 12 AM and working 10hour shifts. Schedule will rotate 1 week working MonThur and the following week TueFri.
Alternately this position can work MF starting at 2 PM.
What Youll Do
- Perform and ensure PMs and CMs are performed on Process and Utility Equipment
- Ensure maintenance activities are coordinated with operational activities
- Provide guidance for less senior mechanics in their daytoday activities
- Help manage small projects and programs within the maintenance department
- Filli in for the Maintenance Supervisor as required and keep the Supervisor abreast of activities within the department
Who You Are
You are a problem solver and team player that is eager to learn new technical equipment and processes. This position will provide you the opportunity to collaborate with a broader engineering and maintenance group to support manufacturing and essentially to make a difference in patient lives.
Qualifications :
This work requires occasionally climbing ladders crawling into tight spaces moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as working in clean spaces where gowning is required. Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 7 years experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment or related manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Practical knowledge and application of GMP regulations.
- MS Word MS Excel MS Power Point and MS Project.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work when called in for issues extended shifts and weekends as needed
