Continentals eCommerce Fleet Solutions and Data Science Information Technology Competence Center creates a wide range of digital solutions for Continentals customers and internal stakeholders and we want you to join us!
The Fleet Solutions team builds global tech platforms using the Internet of Things big data and automated service management. We constantly strive to improve the user experience for our fleet customers and Continentals fleet organization.

Continental is looking for a highlyskilled Backend Developer to work within their eCommerce Fleet Solutions and Data Science Information Technology Competence Center. With this job you join the global team working on our product ContiConnect a digital tire monitoring platform for commercial fleets around the world.
Main Responsibilities:
- Closely collaborate with ContiConnect DevOps team members based in Europe to provide production support for the global web and mobile application ContiConnect;
- Develop new features;
- Efficiently debug and resolve technical issues;
- Compile technical documentation and user assistance material;
- Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies;

Qualifications :
- University Degree in Computer Science IT or related field;
- 3 years of experience in Java programming ideally Spring Boot;
- Experience with clientserver applications and microservice architecture;
- Experience supporting and operating a multiuser software system;
- Profound knowledge of relational databases and SQL;
- Analytical mindset and good problemsolving skills;
- Software Engineering skills;
- ITSM experience is a plus;
- Experience with Apache Kafka is a plus;
- Basic Linux shell knowledge is a plus;
- Angular 14 knowledge is a plus;
- Proficient with continuous integration tools such as git Jenkins SonarQube;
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes environment;
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders and strategic partners;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Able to work independently as part of a global team.
