Job Description
Role: AWS Data Engineer
Experience Required: 7 Years
Duration: 6 months
Location: 100 Remote
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer in consumer finance or equivalent industries
- Strong background in math statistics computer science or data science
- Advanced proficiency in Java Scala Python or C#
- Handson experience with HDFS YARN Hive Spark Kafka Oozie/Airflow AWS Docker/Kubernetes Snowflake
Expertise in:
- Data mining/programming tools (SAS SQL R Python)
- Databases (PostgreSQL Redshift Snowflake Greenplum)
- Data visualization (Tableau Looker MicroStrategy)
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to nontechnical audiences
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience in AWS Glue
- Experience in Apache Parquet
- Proficient in AWS S3 and data lake
- Knowledge of Snowflake
- Understanding of filebased ingestion best practices
- Scripting languages: Python & PySpark
