Job Description
Mission description:
Based in Berlin the intern will be part of the investment team and will be supervised by 8 investors in Paris London and in Berlin. She or he will be fully involved in all steps of the investment process.
Key contributions include:
Sourcing: indepth analysis of targeted sectors or geographies to identify potential new investment opportunities. Participation in industry forums and techrelated events.
Assistance in the investment process: market review work with industry experts financial analysis and modeling participation in meetings with companies advisors and partners preparation of investment memos for Investment Committee.
Assistance in the fundraising process: preparation and update of presentation materials sourcing of potential LPs drafting of followup emails.
Preparation of weekly meetings: deal flow review new investment opportunities and presentation of analyses carried out.
Portfolio support: work with and help support the entrepreneurs and teams of our portfolio companies.
ESG support: make sure ESG processes and criteria are integrated all along the investment cycle and promoted among portfolio companies.
Qualifications :
Profile we are looking for:
At least one internship experience in finance (VC PE M&A or strategy consulting
Strong entrepreneurial mindset curiosity to understand the technology ecosystem
Autonomy and multitasking
Full proficiency in English
Eligible to work in Germany
