Network Senior ICT Engineer - Carrier

Purpose

Perform coordinate and improve most complex activities 3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPIs. Plan implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organizations business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

This position requires someone with specialized training and certifications specifically in Coriant and ECIRibbon. Preferably Germanspeaking but English would be acceptable for the right candidate.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Responsible for planning designing and implementing commissioning and operation of complex network systems.
• Identifying and analyzing problems and initiating solutions.
• Designing and implementing commissioning and operation processes.
• Problem identification and documentation using a troubleticket system even in complex system landscapes.
• Initiating escalation procedures in critical problem cases.
• Subject matter expert contact.
• Representing the Network Administration department in crossfunctional solution teams.
• Evaluating and assessing new technologies.
• Administering the deployed network and security systems.
• Integrating new customers into existing operational processes.
• Handling and executing complex assignments.
• Installing and maintaining tools.
• Designing and implementing supporting tools.
• Contributing to the development and planning of service concepts.
• Coordinating order processing.

Qualifications :

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have Masters degree with relevant professional experience or comparable knowledge and skills
• have at least seven years of professional experience including at least three years in IT administration
• are proficient with the MS Office product suite
• have indepth knowledge of Coriant components > MEFCECP certification (Metro Ethernet Forum Professional Certification Program) or Ribbon NTP1/2 Carrier Ethernet training
• have indepth knowledge of ECIRibbon components > MEFCECP certification (Metro Ethernet Forum Professional Certification Program) or Ribbon NTP1/2 Carrier Ethernet training
• have good knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet WLAN etc.
• have good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP OSPF BGP and MPLS)
• have very good knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACI CCNA
• have experience with Cisco and Huawei
• have CCNP certification
• have good knowledge of services such as Multicast DHCP DNS NAT Tacas and Radius
• have very good knowledge of network infrastructures
• speak English C1 level German B2 level is a very big advantage
• have extensive experience working in project teams
• have extensive experience working in crossfunctional working groups and taskforces
• are flexible customeroriented with entrepreneurial thinking and actions including at the management level
• are professional trustworthy and empathetic demeanor at the management level
• have highly systematic and structured working style with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• have strong cooperation teamwork and conflict resolution skills.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1850 /brutto.
