Job Description

Brightspeed is currently looking for a Senior Account Manager for our Sales and Channel Management Community Transformations department to join our team! In this role the Senior Account Manager will be responsible to grow the MultiUnit Dwelling (MDU) and SingleFamily Home (SFH) partnerships through contract acquisition with developers property managers and builders. The Senior Account Manager will educate developers about Brightspeed products and services and negotiate the best options for securing an agreement for Brightspeed to bring fiber services to new or existing properties. This person must have strong business development conflict and funnel management skills. The Senior Account Manager needs to enjoy building longterm relationships and have a demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals. We are offering this person to sit in Alabama. This position will require travel out of state.

As Senior Account Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Accountability for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas
  • Developing and executing hunting strategies to target new MDU and singlefamily home construction in your territory
  • Creating and maintaining a full sales funnel catching every opportunity in your territory
  • Building great customer relationships and delivering an excellent endtoend customer experience
  • Responsible for daytoday sales activity management funnel activity territory management and customer focused sales efforts
  • Participating in community and industryrelated events to further develop the opportunities to procure new business 
  • Leading in both industry knowledge and your territorys competitive landscape
  • Negotiating offers and contracts for building entrance agreements bulk prices and marketing agreements
  • Working closely with engineers and other cross functional teams to create the best solutions for customers and a seamless customer experience
  • Tracking customer fiber builds to ensure the project will hit the first occupancy date and that the customer is informed on project milestones
  • Proactively troubleshooting issues and managing quick resolutions of any obstacle

 


Qualifications :

What It Takes To Catch Our Eye! 

  • Bachelors degree in business Communications Marketing or related experience
  • 3 years of sales or account management experience
  • Proven resultsdriven professional sales experience
  • Requires strong written and verbal communications
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel to meet the demands of the job
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record (MVR) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint 

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of cable TV Internet and/or Voice products and services
  • Residential Property management or real estate development
