Job Description
- Extensive knowledge in the design of IT Infrastructure primarily and secondary security technology systems including but not limited to: structured cabling (fiber/copper outside plant) technology room design mission critical facility
- design access control and surveillance systems visitor management systems etc.
- Intimate knowledge of IT Security requirements including but not limited to:
- structural support requirements; cabling pathways; power and grounding
- building standards code compliance etc.
- General knowledge of Information Technology (IT) services and digital media delivery technologies network hardware infrastructure and system architecture.
- Serve as client advocate for technology aspects of the project(s) driving and coordinating with the clients stakeholders and the architects engineers general
- contractors and technology installation vendors.
- Construction administration of projects. Participate in OAC meetings site visits and field observation reporting. Work with General Contractors and technology installation vendors to ensure installations meet performance cost schedule and warranty requirements.
- Oversee systems commissioning training handoff and owner acceptance for exceptional client satisfaction.
- Develop and expand client relationships and with project team partners (PMs Architects MEPs GCs etc.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree and/or 10 years of consulting and field experience.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in an IT and Security design/consulting / PM role.
- RCDD certification preferred not required (or 10 years of design).
- CTS PSP LEED and PMP certifications a plus.
- Experience in Wifi design a plus:
- WiFi design (Ekahau software)
