Job Description

  • Parttime 3 days a week including Wednesday
  • Narre Warren on the lands of the Wurundjeri Boon Wurrung & Bunurong Peoples
  • $74000$81000 pro rata

Key Responsibilities

  • Support victim/survivors in building their resilience and navigating their recovery journey.
  • Facilitate group sessions and provide psychoeducation to help identify and respond to the impacts of family violence.
  • Actively hold space for individuals waiting to access support through the Therapeutic Family Violence program.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure appropriate service referrals.
  • Increase meaningful community involvement across EACHs service model including engagement reception administration and clinical services.
  • Maintain compliance with HSW procedures to ensure safe outreach and group activities.
  • Complete reporting and accountability requirements accurately and on time.
  • Uphold the values principles and mission of EACH in all interactions and service delivery.

  • Lived experience and recovery from family violence with insights into the challenges faced by young people parents CALD communities LGBTIQ individuals women with children and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Applied understanding and sensitivity to the needs of diverse communities including LGBTIQ youth and Aboriginal populations.
  • Willingness to share your personal journey to support and inspire others in their recovery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity respect and inclusivity in client interactions.
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate change and new ways of working.
  • A minimum Certificate IV qualification in Family Violence or a relevant discipline.
