We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to oversee the delivery of service excellence while growing the commercial viability of OSCAR services in the region.  

As Regional Operations Manager you will support a team of 23 direct reports (Senior Programme Leaders) who are regionally clustered to provide day to day support of their programmes.

This role will lead manage and develop programme teams in our sites across the Central West and East Auckland region and nurture effective relationships within our school communities. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with key school stakeholders (i.e. principals and school councils) to ensure the retention and overall longevity of our school partnerships.

Reporting to the General Manager of Operations you will work collaboratively with ROMs across the country to develop and execute strategies that facilitate growth and continuous improvement across our portfolio.

  • Manage service delivery to achieve budgeted results

  • Engage and retain employees
  • Effective relationships with schools
  • Effective contract management

 


Qualifications :

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Educational Leadership or Operational Experience managing across multiple regions
  • A track record in a similar management role within a similar sized multisite distributed network organisation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and fun environment.
  • A cando attitude and willingness to lead from the front
  • An ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Considerable experience leading and managing teams to achieve visible results
  • Track record of managing compliance and reporting within a regulated industry
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering to a quality and safety agenda
  • Experience of managing continuous improvement and change

 

Knowledge and experience in OSCAR or Early Childhood Education is desirable but not essential.
