Job Description
We re seeking a talented and driven Social Media Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding our digital presence and driving book sales. In this exciting position you ll be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing our proven marketing strategies across various social media platforms. You ll have the opportunity to engage with potential readers manage targeted ad campaigns and contribute to the growth of our email marketing initiatives. Responsibilities
- Implement and refine social media marketing strategies across Facebook Instagram Twitter and other relevant platforms
- Engage with potential readers in targeted online communities and groups to promote books and authors
- Manage and grow dedicated social media accounts and groups for various book genres
- Execute and optimize social media advertising campaigns to boost visibility and sales
- Coordinate the distribution of free book copies in exchange for honest reviews
- Manage and expand email lists crafting engaging email marketing campaigns
- Track and analyze key performance metrics providing regular reports on engagement growth and sales
- Collaborate with the team to enhance and expand our existing marketing playbook
- Research and recommend new marketing strategies and tools to stay ahead of industry trends
- Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the team
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media marketing preferably in the publishing or content creation industry
- Indepth knowledge of Facebook Instagram Twitter and other social media platforms
- Strong written communication skills in English with the ability to craft engaging and errorfree content
- Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools
- Familiarity with email marketing best practices and list management
- Basic understanding of Amazon s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform and algorithm
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Creative problemsolving skills and a datadriven approach to marketing
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for books and the publishing industry
- Availability for one ESTfriendly meeting per week
- Comfortable with a flexible 20hour work week schedule
