Urban Italian Group (UIG) serves over 4000 guests daily across our 11 restaurants.

The restaurant group was founded in 2017 and has since then grown organically doubling the size of its organization each year with constant development across all dimensions: quality of food and beverages hearted hospitality and beautiful interior spaces.

Our two flagship brands Basta and Florentine are among Scandinavias most popular restaurant brands. In fact both of our Stockholm locations were among the Top 10 most booked restaurants in 2024.

Basta Basta is a casual dining restaurant brand offering great guest experiences in beautifully designed places focused around great value for the guests. With a colorful inspiration from the narrow streets of Amalfi up to the north of Milano.

Florentine Florentine on the other hand is an international upscale casual dining Trattoria offering culinary experiences in a glamorous setting straight from the Italian movie scene.

Exciting Future Growth:

• Basta is expanding to 18 locations in Sweden by 2030.

• Florentine is set to go international targeting the Middle East Oslo and London.

• A new multiunit Italian concept launches in 2025.

• A modern Spanish tapas restaurant opens in Stockholm in 2026.

About You and the role

We are looking for passionate driven and handson hospitality leaders who are eager to make an impact in a highenergy fastgrowing restaurant group.

As part of our leadership team you will play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience leading dynamic teams and driving operational excellence in highvolume full la carte restaurants.

Who You Are:

• A natural leader who thrives in fastpaced environments and leads by example.

• Experienced in managing large teams in highvolume restaurants or bars.

• Passionate about training developing and inspiring teams to succeed.

• Non negotiable with guest experience ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.

• A strong problemsolver with the ability to make quick strategic decisions.

• A team player who fosters a positive peoplefirst workplace culture.

• Entrepreneurial and driven to improve operations financial results and team performance.

• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus but not required).

• Holding an EU work permit (visa sponsorship currently unavailable).

Available Leadership Roles:

Bar Manager Oversee bar operations manage stock develop cocktail menus and lead a team of 10 bartenders.

Assistant General Manager Support restaurant operations coach FOH teams and ensure smooth service for 400 guests.

General Manager Take full ownership of a restaurant lead a team of 2040 and drive financial & operational success.
