Job Description
JOB TITLE: Estimator
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week MondayFriday
Main responsibilities
- Support the estimating team with quoting including:
- Reviewing incoming quote requests to understand the Clients requirements
- Calculate the required costs to complete the work
- Obtain quotes for any works to be subcontracted
- Prepare and submit quotes to Customers
- Support with the implementation of new processes and tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the department
- Review feedback from submitted quotes and make recommendations to support increased hit rates profitability and drive cost optimisation
- Oversee secured projects to ensure costs remain in line with our forecast
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand the different divisions & market conditions
- Active involvement with developing new sustainable and innovative ways to estimate
