Job Description

A passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher is needed at a welcoming school in Barnet to join their team this April 2025. The school is focused on providing a stimulating and supportive environment where students are encouraged to excel academically and personally.

Location: Barnet London
Start Date: April 2025

Salary: MPS/UPS
Contract Type: Fulltime Permanent

Your Role:

  • Lead a Year 5 class delivering inspiring lessons that help students transition smoothly into Key Stage 2
  • Promote independent thinking and problemsolving through creative learning activities
  • Support the emotional and academic growth of students helping them reach their full potential
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies

What We Need:

  • QTS and experience teaching KS2
  • Strong organisational and classroom management skills
  • Passion for fostering a growth mindset and academic excellence
  • Creativity in lesson delivery and approach
