Job Description
About the role
We are looking for Seafood Process Workers to join the team at our Blenheim site for the mussel season.
Your Hourly rate will range from $24.50 $25.51 based on your experience and qualifications.
Contract piece rates apply when opening mussels.
As a Seafood Process Worker you will be responsible for:
- Manual handling of product
- Operation of processing machinery
- Blanching packing and opening of mussels
- Monitoring of food safety and quality
- Training new staff and leading a team (when trained and competent)
Qualifications :
For this role youll need:
- Seafood processing qualifications/experience is advantageous
- Reliable transportation
