Job Description
An Exciting opportunity within the Motueka site has become available for General hands within the cool store. We have Days and Afternoon shift positions at our two sites available.
As a general hand you will be responsible for:
- Loading Containers for Export by hand stacking and slip sheeting
- Making up orders for Local Market Distribution and Internal Transfers
- Completing documentation to support dispatch or reception of product
- Grading sorting and palletising product
- Stock taking product when required biannual
- Complete and/or participate in audits Health Safety & Wellness and Food Safety
- Unloading/Loading trucks
- Store driving when required
- General Cold Store operations
Qualifications :
Who are you
You are a selfstarter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude enjoy working hard and are honest reliable and willing to learn.
For this role youll need:
- Adhere to our Health Safety & Welling & Food Safety requirements
- Be punctual with good attendance
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- An adaptable individual who can manage varying workloads.
- Good time management with the ability to work to deadlines
- Physically fit
- Strong work ethic with a good attitude
- You should have good English and Mathematical skills with attention to detail
A forklift license is desirable but not essential. Training will be available for the right candidate.
