Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to maintain and repair our refrigeration and defrosting machinery across multiple sites throughout the Canterbury region whilst ensuring minimal downtime and optimal plant performance.
Your hourly rate will range from $45.00 $55.00 based on your experience and qualifications.
As a Refrigeration Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Maintenance of all refrigeration and defrosting machinery and equipment
- Operating repairing and testing pumping equipment
- Performing work site inspections to determine appropriate procedures and equipment
- Ordering supplies and equipment to maintain stock for daily operations
- Updating logs and documentation on a daily basis
Qualifications :
For this role youll need:
- New Zealand Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent
- Proven experience working with ammonia
- Strong knowledge of maintenance electrical and refrigeration procedures
- Ability to read design drawings and diagrams
- CFC Certificate is preferred
