Job Description

Job Title: Project Engineer Structural Engineering

Location: Los Angeles CA (Relocation available)

Employment Type: Fulltime

Role Overview:

This position offers a growthoriented career path in structural engineering where the selected candidate will work alongside Project Managers and structural engineers on largescale complex projects.

As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in structural design detailing and coordination with multidisciplinary teams while gaining exposure to a variety of exciting and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail structural systems for large complex projects in various market sectors.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers Revit draftspersons architects and consultants to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes seismic regulations and industry standards.
  • Perform structural analysis calculations and detailing for steel and concrete structures.
  • Participate in client meetings technical presentations and project coordination efforts.
  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.

MustHave Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 36 years of building design experience.
  • Education: Masters degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
  • Ability to design and detail large complex structural systems across multiple market sectors.
  • Proficiency in Revit and ability to coordinate with draftspersons architects and consultants.
  • Strong understanding of building codes seismic analysis and structural design principles.
NicetoHave Qualifications:
  • Experience working with DSA and OSHPD (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
