Job Description
Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Process and manage all factory and inventory payments including the 3way match process
- Oversee and verify payments prepared by other Accounting Specialists before Controller approves outgoing payments
- Reconcile verify and post all outflows
- Serve as the point person for suppliers and internal crossfunctional inquiries and requests around payment issues
- Develop guidelines for proper handling and posting of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records
- Assist with monthend close process
- Prepare cash forecast reports and report on company financial health and liquidity
- Participate in budget and forecast process
Qualifications :
We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role were looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- 35 years experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP IF etc. pivot tables power query and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)
- SQL knowledge preferred
- Confident working with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of GAAP
