Job Description
This position is onsite in our Corporate office in Long Grove IL.
Compensation Range $76350 $93500
MAT Holdings is seeking a talented experienced frontend web developer with strong WordPress experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging digital experiences and understanding the latest web technologies and standards. This role will involve designing building and maintaining MAT Holdings corporate website and supporting multiple division websites and online business strategies.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Marketing Shared Services this handson role requires working with division marketing digital/graphic design videography and IT functions to deliver solutions. It also requires effective leadership and expertise in managing complex projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design develop and maintain responsive and SEOfriendly websites using WordPress
- Convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
- Experience working with a variety of APIs and integrations
- Manage ongoing web administration content management and Google Analytics reporting as required
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to website design and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues problems and errors encountered across our web properties internal applications and systems as reported or experienced
- Test websites across browsers operating systems and devices for responsiveness and load times
- Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- At least 23 years of work experience as a Front End Developer with strong WordPress experience
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field
- Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS
- Proficient understanding of clientside scripting and JavaScript frameworks
- Working knowledge of PHP and serverside environment
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX design
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring the application will adhere to them
- Solid understanding of Google Analytics (GA4 reporting
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Strong problemsolving skills and a detailoriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
