Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting the Manager of Demand Planning in delivering accurate and ontime demand plans to support the MATI Division of MAT Holdings business needs. MATI services the Home Improvement sector with various fencing and lawn & garden products primarily in the Home Center Hardware Mass Merchant and Farm channels. This person will support the Manager of Demand Planning through the S&OP process while working crossfunctionally with Sales Marketing Product Development and Sourcing.
Compensation Range: $60850 $74550
Principle Responsibilities
- Lead in developing and maintaining monthly forecasts for all finished goods parts using order and shipment history customer point of sale data market intelligence and industry trends to inform the projected demand.
- Work with sales marketing and product management to understand product life cycles demand patterns and short medium and longterm forecasts.
- Develop and maintain monthly forecast accuracy and forecast bias metrics by customer product family and SKU.
- Ensure proactive communication and delivery of targets for forecast accuracy and bias. Drive action plans for improvement in case of noncompliant KPIs.
- Communicate and summarize forecast changes along with monthly performance and critical variances.
- Run and maintain statistical forecasts in IBP. Analyze and articulate variances between statistical forecast history and customer forecast.
- Develop and maintain weekly and monthly POS and inventory reports for key customers
- Articulate and present POS inventory levels price points store counts and rate of sales observations to multiple levels within the organization

- Able to process large amounts of data influence others drive crossfunctional alignment and communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Experience using and interacting with Demand Planning systems.
- Experience with forecasting methodologies techniques and approaches (e.g. time series and causal modeling)
- Must be well organized selfmotivated focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fastpaced environment.
- Advanced MS Office skills (i.e. Excel and Access) and prior ERP system experience.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively across the organization to accomplish strategic objectives
Education/Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in operations management supply chain engineering statistics or a related field. Certifications like Google Data Analytics or Six Sigma are also welcomed
- 02 years of supply chain planning experience in S&OP demand and supply planning.
